Rand Paul, who is a fierce opponent of the president’s healthcare reform, is meeting Trump.

It has been reported that President Donald Trump is playing golf at one of the clubs he owns.

Golfing again:

Trump is meeting with budget director Mick Mulvaney and Senator Rand Paul, according to reports from the White House press pool. Paul has been a fierce opponent of the healthcare reform championed by the President and House Speaker Paul Ryan.

Trump was pictured playing a round of golf earlier this week at one of his own properties, however, journalists were led to believe that he was in meetings at Trump National Golf Club in Sterling, Virginia.

The pool reports stated that he returned to the club on Sunday.

Criticizing Obama’s golfing:

Before getting elected president, Trump had criticized his predecessor, Barack Obama, for golfing too often.

Last year, during a campaign rally Trump referred to his golf courses as he criticized Obama. He said “You know what – and I love golf – but if I were in the White House, I don’t think I’d ever see Turnberry again, I don’t think I’d ever see Doral again, I own Doral in Miami, I don’t think I’d ever see many of the places that I have.

“I don’t ever think that I’d see anything, I just wanna stay in the White House and work my ass off, make great deals, right? Who’s gonna leave? I mean, who’s gonna leave?”

According to The Washington Post, so far the President has visited his own-branded properties approximately once every three days during the course of his presidency.

Among his golfing partners were Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe and champion professionals Rory McIlroy and Tiger Woods.
